Doha, Qatar: Deputy Mufti of the Russian Federation His Eminence Sheikh Roshan Abbasov praised the efforts by the Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center in the fields of dawah and Islamic culture during his visit to the center, where he was received by Sultan bin Saad Al-Bader, the Assistant Director of the Center.
Sultan Al-Bader welcomed Sheikh Roshan Abbasov’s visit and introduced him to the nature of the center’s work. He also accompanied him on an introductory tour of the facilities, during which the Sheikh visited the heritage hall that showcases Qatari heritage to the public, and viewed sections of the civilization hall, where visitors learn about the features of Islamic culture as a religion and civilization.
Sheikh Roshan Abbasov’s visit comes as part of his trip to the country. The Sheikh Abdulla Bin Zaid Al Mahmoud Islamic Cultural Center had previously hosted a group of Russian students in Arabic-language courses for non-native speakers with the aim of strengthening their knowledge, speaking skills, communication abilities, and methods of teaching the Arabic language.
