The past few days witnessed a frenzy of high-octane activities in Qatar as some of the world’s top carmakers brought their latest vehicles to Doha for the Geneva International Motor Show Qatar 2023 (GIMS Qatar).
The first edition of GIMS Qatar kicked off on Thursday and is being held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC). The response to the prestigious international motor show, which has stepped out of its base of Geneva for the first time, has been tremendous as tickets are being lapped up by auto fans who don’t want to miss the opportunity to see some of the coolest automobiles in the world, some of which had their world premieres here at the show. The 2023 GIMS is open to the public until October 14.

Heightening the excitement for auto fans, the fastest racing cars in the world competed for the top prize as part of the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Qatar Grand Prix at the remodelled Lusail International Circuit. The packed stands of fans were treated to some exhilarating action as the race decided the champion of this season.
