Doha: The fifth edition of Merwad Exhibition, which is sponsored by the Qatar Chamber (QC) will open to the public on Friday at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC).
Sponsored by the QC and organised by Vouge Event Company, the five-day event will display products of about 130 prominent designers from Qatar alongside with designers from Kuwait, India, Oman, and Turkey.
Held on an area of 6,000sqm area, the expo includes 140 booths of clothes and particularly abaya.
QC Board Member and Chairperson of Qatari Businesswoman Forum (QBWF) Ibtihaj Al Ahmadani (pictured) will open the expo in the presence of a number of businesswomen and exhibitors.
The expo has been seeing development across the previous editions in terms of the variety of displayed items which showcase innovation and high quality products, as well as the large turnout of visitors and the number of exhibitors.
The expo has become a landmark in the exhibition industry, especially in the field of women’s fashion and accessories, presenting a variety of distinguished products of abayas and fashion that are of unique design.
