Doha: Injaaz Stud's Gaby De Faust (FR) yesterday emerged victorious in the feature race of the Dukhan Cup at Al Rayyan racetrack.
Michael Forest rode the Mohammed Riyaz-trained 4-year-old filly to an impressive win in the 1700m run for 3-year-old Purebred Arabian fillies & mares as the winners bagged the top prize of the day, worth QR57,000.
Dabaab (FR), traned by Alban Elie Marie De Mieulle and ridden by Ronan Thomas, missed the win by a 6¾-length as they finished second ahead of Safae (FR), guided by Ivan Rossi.

Qatar Racing and Equestrian Club (QREC) Racing Manager Abdulla Rashid Al Kubaisi presented trophies to the winners of the QR100,000 Dukhan Cup.
It was the third win for Injaaz Stud, after Izzthatright (IRE) won the Class 2 Thoroughbred class and Golden Bear (IRE) landed the Thoroughbred Maiden Plate earlier in the meet.
Ali Khalid Al Mosallam rode the Zuhair Mohsen-trained 8-year-old gelding Izzthatright to a 2¼-legnth win in the 5f run.
Golden Bear was guided by Meteb Ali Al Saaq as the Mohammed Hussain-trained 2-year-old gelding secured a 2-length win in the 6f run.
Meanwhile, Faleh Bughanaim yesterday guided Al Shaqab Racing's homebred Bsheer (USA) to win the Purebred Arabian Handicap (0-90) by a neck. The Hossin Ashour-trained 8-year-old gelding to a neck win in the 1900m run
In the Thoroughbred Handicap (Class 4) race, Al Rabban Racing's Shawaaheq (IRE) clinched a victory with Thomas in the saddle. The De Mieulle-trained 4-year-old gelding eased to a 4-length win in the 1700m run.
Earlier, Abdul Rahman bin Hamad bin Abdul Rahman Al Attiyah's Third World (IRE) (Dansili) won a TB Novice Plate on dirt. Meteb Ali Al Saqqa rode the Jassim Ghazali-trained 4-year-old colt to an impressive 9¾-length win in the 1900m run.
Mubarak Zayed Shahwani's Satam (FR) bagged a Purebred Arabian Maiden Plate (0-70) when Tomas Lukasek rode the Mansoor Mesfer Al Hajri-trained 5YO horse to a ¾-length win in the 1700 run for 4-6-year-olds.
In the first race of the day, Hamad Ahmed Hassan Al Malki Al Jehan's homebred Mater (QA) won the Local TB Maiden Plate. Faleh Bughanaim rode the Hamad Al Jehani-trained 3-year-old colt to a ½-length win in the 6f run.
