DOHA: The British Council in partnership with HSBC hosted a special “Welcome Back” event for all newly-returning UK graduates. The UK Ambassador to Qatar, Ajay Sharma was the guest of honour at this unique event that was attended by 65 fresh graduates and UK Alumni.
The event is part of the Qatar-UK Alumni Network programme and provided a networking opportunity for graduates to learn from well-established UK alumni and build their professional network. HSBC shared information about the many international career opportunities within the bank as well as detail about the unique HSBC graduates programme.
“The Qatar-UK Alumni Network programme enables our alumni to maintain strong connections to UK educational and cultural opportunities and build on their international experience. In Qatar the network provides them with support for their careers through networking, mentoring and professional development events,” said Sam Ayton, Director, British Council Qatar.
