Kabul: Afghan and Uzbek traders have sealed 20 trade agreements totaling 267 million US dollars in the Afghan capital Kabul on Saturday, the Ministry of Industry and Commerce said on Sunday.

The newly signed accords span a diverse array of sectors, encompassing foodstuffs, textiles and apparel, construction materials, livestock, consumer electronics, and furniture, according to the ministry's statement.

The agreements mark the latest milestone in a rapidly expanding economic partnership between the two neighboring nations. In February, March and July of this year, Afghan and Uzbek businesses signed a series of memorandums of understanding collectively valued at over 1 billion dollars.
