IVANO FRANKIVSK: Turkish Airlines has launched direct flights to Ivano Frankivsk in western Ukraine on Wednesday.
The Turkish Airlines plane has landed in Ivano Frankivsk for the first time, according to the airliner's head of sales and marketing, Ziya Taskent.
This marks the seventh Ukrainian city that Turkish Airlines flies to.
Taskent, who was in Ukraine, added that Turkish Airlines boasted 55 flights to Ukraine per week and that the company transported at least 500,000 passengers between Turkey and Ukraine in 2015.
The airliner also flies to capital city Kiev, Odessa, Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, Kherson and Zaporizhia.
