Doha: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine today.
“Today I took the Covid-19 vaccine, and I wish everyone safety and protection from this epidemic,” Amir posted on his Instagram account.

The first phase of vaccination programme began on December 23 at seven designated PHCC Health Centres - Al Wajbah, Leabaib, Al Ruwais, Umm Salal, Rawdat Al Khail, Al Thumama and Muaither.
Many senior officials and front line staff has been receiving the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine Covid-19 vaccine as part of the first phase of Covid-19 vaccination programme.
