QFA discusses security for Asian Cup Qualifiers

Doha:  The security meeting related to Qatari national team’s matches in the World Cup qualifiers (Qatar 2022) and the Asian Cup (China 2023) was held yesterday at the Qatar Football Association (QFA) headquarters. The team will first face Afghanistan on September 5, then will meet India five days later. The two matches will both take place at 7:30pm local time at the Jassim bin Hamad stadium at Al Sadd SC.

The meeting finalised the agreement on all matters related to the organisation of the two matches, with the fans free to enter the stadium two hours before the match. They stressed on the importance of cooperating with security personnel to ensure the good organization of both matches.

Gate no. 3 will be for VIPs. While fourth and fifth gates will be allocated for media personalities and services respectively. Gate no. 2 will be for families, Gate no. 9 will be reserved for the Indian and Afghani fans while the rest of the gates will be reserved for Qatari fans.
