Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) has announced strong interest in the second cohort of its Qatari Trainers Localisation Initiative, with a total of 322 Qatari trainers and children of Qatari women registering to participate following the success of the program’s inaugural phase.

The initiative, launched by the Educational Services Centers Department under the Ministry’s Private Education Affairs Sector, aims to strengthen the participation of national talent in educational and training service centres, while supporting Qatar’s broader efforts to build a highly skilled workforce.

According to the Ministry, applications for the second cohort were opened through its official website after the first phase received a positive response from participants. The registration period attracted significant interest from qualified trainers across the country.

Following the completion of the application process, the Ministry began reviewing submissions to determine eligibility. Of the total applicants, 253 are Qatari trainers, while 15 are children of Qatari women who meet the participation criteria.

Interviews for shortlisted candidates are scheduled to begin in August 2026.
