Saudi stock market closes higher

Riyadh: Saudi Arabia's main stock index ended Tuesday's session up 7.77 points to stand at 10,799.92, with trading value reaching SAR 5.5 billion.

A total of 305 million shares were traded, with 164 companies posting gains while 88 recorded declines.

In contrast, the parallel market index (NOMU) lost 17.67 points to close at 23,051.10, with trades worth SAR 16 million and more than 2 million shares exchanged.
