Doha: Assistant Foreign Minister H E Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater met with the Under-Secretary of State for Foreign and Security Policy in the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland H E Kai Sauer, President of Finnish Qatari Association H E Rita Tainola and the Ambassador of Finland H E Pekka Voutilainen.
During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral cooperation, especially in the field of energy, in addition to discussing the latest developments in the Afghan file, the Russian-Ukrainian crisis, and several issues of common interest. The Under-Secretary of Finland expressed appreciation to Qatar for its efforts aimed at achieving peace and stability in Afghanistan.
