Doha: The Minister of Commerce and Industry H E Ali bin Ahmed Al Kuwari held several meetings on the sidelines of the ministerial meeting of the Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (COMCEC) in Istanbul, Turkey.
These meetings included Moulay Hafid Al Alami, Morocco’s Minister of Industry, Trade, Investment and Digital Economy, Dr Tariq Mohammad Hammouri, Jordan’s Minister of Industry, Trade and Supply, and Mohammed Hashim Abdul Majeed, Iraq’s Minister of Trade.
Minister Al Kuwari also met with Bambang Brodjonegoro, Minister of National Development Planning of Indonesia, Safar Mehdiyev, Chairman of Azerbaijan’s State Customs Committee and Amadou Sanneh, Gambia’s Minister of Trade, Industry, and Employment.
Discussions during the meetings touched on the promotion of bilateral relations and efforts to develop joint cooperation, especially in the fields of trade, investment and industry.
