The State of Qatar has expressed strong condemnation and denunciation over the attack that took place in the Nahrawan area, southeast of the Iraqi capital Baghdad, and resulted in a number of deaths and injuries.
In a statement issued yesterday, the Foreign Ministry reiterated the State of Qatar’s firm position on rejecting violence and terrorism regardless of their motives and reasons. The statement also expressed Qatar’s condolences to the victims’ families, the government and the people of Iraq, wishing speedy recovery for the injured.
