Educational Advisors, Sara Al Fardan, Ameera Al Ansari and Dana El Ghazal from Graduaid Academic Consultancy recently visited the newly built Qatar National Library (QNL), to review and recommend books that could help prospective university students.
Spread across an area of 45,000 sqm, the library hosts over 1 million books for readers of history, architecture, arts, music, mathematics, languages and more. It is a haven for students looking to apply for higher education, as it fulfills their need for information that can improve their chances of getting into the best universities.
Graduaid team members spent an evening at the library looking through books and found some really interesting ones that could serve as guides for submitting winning applications. Some of the books include Barron’s SAT, The Princeton Review’s ACT, Kaplan’s GRE, Tanabe’s 50 Successful College Admission Essays and many more to choose from.
Sara Fahad Al Fardan, one of the co-founders and an academic advisor at Graduaid said, “We are delighted about our visit to the Qatar National Library that recently opened. For those who are looking to pursue higher education, relax and read a book, study or even have coffee; the national library is the best place. There are ample quiet spaces for you to sit and study. There are books on writing the best personal statements, essays and practice books for SAT, ACT, GMAT and GRE as well. We went through the myriad of books and found the collection ideal for students. As co-founders who had to strive during the university application processes, we wish we had access to a place like this before.”
The difficulty level of university admission increases with each passing year. It has become extremely critical for students to spend concerted amounts of time preparing themselves for it. Books like the ones recommended by the Graduaid team help students practice different kinds of questions while being prepared for the toughest ones.
