Guardian Wealth Management, in association with Grand Hyatt, W Hotels, Four Seasons, Intercontinental, Renaissance, The Torch, Oryx Rotana, Generali and Skandia International, will be hosting a charity event on June 9, at 7.30pm at Doha Golf Club.
“A Rough Guide to the World Cup” will feature a panel comprised of former Scottish international footballer Andy Gray and legendary television anchor Richard Keys, the British Ambassador to Qatar Nicholas Hopton and two mystery panelists from football’s yesteryear.
David Russell, CEO of Guardian Wealth, said: “I am delighted to be combining our second charity event of the year with the upcoming world cup in Brazil. With preparations under way for Qatar 2022, I feel the residents of Doha share a special affinity with the tournament.”
Initial entertainment on the night will be in the form of an auction of world cup memorabilia flown in from the UK and a raffle of prizes donated by local five start hotels. Keys, Gray and the other panelists will be onstage from 930pm. All profits will go to the Qatar Cancer Society. Raffle tickets will cost QR50 which will include a free beverage.
