Qatar players and officials are presented with the runners-up trophy on the final day of the 2022 Asian Beach Handball Championship in Tehran, Iran, yesterday. Team Qatar suffered a 1-2 defeat at the hands of their Iranian counterparts in their last match, yesterday.
The top three finishers in the Asian Championship, Iran, Qatar and Vietnam received direct tickets to the World Championship, which will be held in Greece next June.
Meanwhile, Qatar youth team finished third in the Asian Youth Beach Handball Championship to qualify for the 2nd IHF Men’s & Women’s Youth Beach Handball World Championships.
