DOHA: On the side line of the 23rd session of the General Assembly of the International Civil Defence Organisation (ICDO) in Qatar from March 25 to 28, the General Directorate of Civil Defence (GDCD) and Lekhwiya yesterday conducted mock drills at Ras Laffan Emergency and Safety College.
The delegations at ICDO’s session attended the drill and took a tour inside the college and briefed about it. Director-General of Civil Defence, Staff Brigadier Abdullah Mohammed Al Suwaidi, said that this drill “Al Samlah 2” helps all to deal with accidents.
