Ezdan Real Estate, a subsidiary of Ezdan Holding Group, which holds a variety of several thousand fully-furnished residential units across the country, enjoys a very high level of occupancy and retention rates, said a senior official of the Group.
Ezdan Group, which is keen to take advantage of the current real estate market movement, owns huge multi-purpose real estate projects and housing societies in different parts of Qatar.
“We have a very healthy retention and occupancy rates almost at all of our housing facilities. The occupancy rates in all its housing societies is very high, which is in the range of between 80 and 100 percent,” Hani Dabash, Property Management Director for Ezdan Real Estate, told The Peninsula, recently.
Dabash added: “We always maintain a record of incoming and outgoing tenants. We serve to a significant portion of expatriate communities in Qatar. A lot of our tenants opt for transfers within our housing facilities as their family size grows and requirements change with time. And we try to accommodate them as per their requirement so that they enjoy living at our properities hassle-free.” Asked about the occupancy rates of Ezdan Oasis project, a giant project where the Group announced the launch of its first phase last year, he said that whatever the number of units the company has launched so far, it is maintaining occupancy rate of more than 85 percent. As of now the company has no plans to announce any incentives for the Oasis as it is enjoying a very comfortable level of occupancy.
Dabash, commenting about price competitiveness, said that the Ezdan always offers the best prices within the same types of housing categories offered by others. “We make sure that we give the fair rates to the existing and new tenants. Our prices are always attractive compared to the same types of products offered by others in the market.” On the incentives, he noted that Ezdan has many attractions and comparative advantages over others. For individuals as well as corporate clients, who require accommodation facilities for their staff in big volumes, it is a reliable service provider. Ezdan offers a diversified accommodation services for all kinds employees with a wide range of incomes at competitive prices.
“Given the size of Ezdan’s operations, we are confident to maintain our position in the market and will continue to meet the growing demand for housing facilities within the country in the-run-up-to the 2022 FIFA World Cup and beyond,” Dabash added.
“We always offer incentives for our tenants. We recently concluded our scheme offering one month rent-free accommodation agreements for our 3BR apartments located in the heart of Doha. And we are also planning to launch another promotion for next month which will be announced very soon.” Speaking about the market outlook, he noted that the real estate market of Qatar is most promising in the region, which is growing steadily and maintaining the growth momentum. The ups and downs are a short term phenomenon, which is not affecting much on the long-term investors. The market is growing in a healthy way and moving forward in the run-up-to host the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
