Doha: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani met this morning with HM Emperor Naruhito of Japan at the Imperial Palace in the capital, Tokyo.
At the beginning of the meeting, H H the Amir expressed to H M the Emperor his sincere condolences on the death of former Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
During the meeting, they reviewed the close relations between the two friendly countries, in addition to exchanging talks on a number of issues of mutual interest.
