DOHA: H E Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi, the Minister of State for Energy Affairs, held talks in Tokyo with Isshu Sugawara, Japan’s Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry.
Discussions during the meeting focused on cooperation between Qatar and Japan in the field of energy and particularly in the natural gas industry, and other issues of mutual concern.
Ministers Al Kaabi and Sugawara reaffirmed commitment to stronger bilateral relations and future cooperation in all aspects of the energy industry.
The discussions were attended by Hassan bin Mohammed Rafei Al Emadi, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Japan, as well as senior executives from Qatar Petroleum and Qatargas.
