Qatar’s Chess team concluded their positive participation in 2019 Arab Chess Cup in Jordan’s capital city of Amman on a positive note on Friday.
Team Qatar earned good results through the duo sisters, Lian and Rowdah Qasabi. Qatar’s promising player, Abdullah Al Hameed collected 3.5 points in the U-14 category.
Lian Mansoor Qasabi shared the fifth place with Lebanese’s Mariam Saigh and Jordanian’s Rivana Hilal, each having received five points.
Qatar’s Abdullah Al Hameed finished in the 23rd place with 3.5 points in his tally in U-14 category.
The Championship brought together 276 players from 16 Arab nations, including Qatar, Algeria, Morocco, Lebanon, Iraq, Tunisia, Libya, Syria, Palestine, Yemen, UAE, KSA, Bahrain, Oman and hosts Jordan.
