Head of Shura Council of Al Wefaq National Islamic Society and former Bahraini member of parliament, Seyyed Jameel Kadhom (right), is embraced upon his release from jail after serving a six month sentence, in Salmabad, Bahrain, yesterday. Kadhom was arrested and later imprisoned on February 15, 2015 over a tweet during Bahrain’s November 2014 elections, in which he speculated on the Bahraini regime’s practice of paying opposition MPs to participate in the elections which were set to be largely boycotted.
