Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces H E Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabit visiting King Abdulaziz Air Base in Dhahran.
Dhahran: Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces H E Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabit visited King Abdulaziz Air Base in Dhahran as part of his official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
He was accompanied during the visit by Chief of the Saudi General Staff H E Lieutenant-General Fayyad bin Hamed Al Ruwaili and a number of senior officers in the Qatari Armed Forces.
They were received by Staff Major-General Pilot Khaled Mohammed Al Harbi, the designated commander of the air base. During the visit, HE the Chief of Staff was briefed on the base’s facilities and services.
Earlier, the Chief of Staff visited the headquarters of the Saudi Joint Forces Command, where he was received by Commander of the Joint Forces H E Lieutenant General Mutlaq bin Salem Al Azima, during the official visit of the Chief of Staff to the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
He also visited the Advanced Electronics Company, where he was received by the CEO of the company Engineer Ziad bin Houmod Al Musallam.
On his tour, the Chief of Staff visited the Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition, where he was received by the Secretary-General of the centre, Major General Pilot Mohammed Saeed Al Moghedi.
