Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index gained 86.26 points, or 0.89 percent, when the bourse closed trading at 9,783.56 points yesterday.
The volume of shares traded increased to 19.15 million from 10.28 million on Sunday and the value of shares increased to QR561.92m from QR297.92m on Sunday.
From the 47 companies listed on QSE, shares of 45 saw trading yesterday. From these, 16 companies gained, 24 closed lower, while the five companies remaining unchanged. Indices of three sectors ended in green zone and four sector in red zone today.
QSE Total Return Index increased 0.89 percent to 18,002.58 points.
