In a special ceremony, Qatar Steel Company (Qatar Steel) honoured 202 of its long-service employees, who have completed 10 – 40 years of work, in acknowledgement and appreciation of their efforts, commitment and dedication in serving the Company throughout the years.
Qatar Steel Managing Director & General Manager Mohammed bin Nasser Al Hajri, departmental managers and senior staff were present.
On the occasion, Mohammed bin Nasser Al Hajri said: “Qatar Steel has a long of tradition of holding this ceremony to recognise long-service employees in appreciation of their efforts and dedication throughout their years of service.”
“This annual recognition tradition is the way the Company expresses its pride in its technical and administrative staff with excellent expertise and skills in various fields”, added Al Hajri, “It represents a motivation for employees to give their best in order to enable Qatar Steel to realise its strategic goals and contribute positively to promoting health and safety standards at workplace.
We, further, believe such efforts will contribute to enhancing the employee’s participation at workplace, promoting performance level, adding to the ambition of outstanding employees for holding key positions at Qatar Steel and playing a significant role in enhancing the Company’s success and contributions to the national economy and Qatar’s burgeoning trajectory.” Mohammed bin Nasser Al Hajri presented certificates to the recognised employees for their outstanding performance over the previous years.
