Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani met yesterday with the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Armenia, Davit Tonoyan (top); and Chairman of the Committee of Emergency Situations and Civil Defense of the Republic of Tajikistan, Lt. Gen. Rustam Nazarzoda, and ICDO Secretary-General, Dr. Vladimir Kuvshinov (below).
The Prime Minister also met Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kyrgyzstan, Kubatbek Boronov, and a number of Their Excellencies the Ministers and senior officials concerned with emergency and civil defence participating in the meetings of the 23rd session of the General Assembly of International Civil Defense Organization (ICDO). Talks during the meetings dealt with cooperation relations, especially in the field of civil protection and civil defence, and ways of enhancing and developing them, in addition to topics on the agenda of the ICDO meetings.
