H E Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassem bin Mohammed Al Thani (second left), Minister of Economy and Commerce, met with Marc Allen (second right), President of Boeing International, on the sidelines of the participation of Qatari delegation at the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. During the meeting, they discussed prospects for joint cooperation in various fields, especially investment and aircraft industry. Qatar Airways is investing $92bn to purchase more than 332 US-made aircraft in line with Qatar’s long-standing economic policy aimed at boosting Qatar’s openness to major economies and strengthening cooperation with its various strategic partners.
