Aman Center concludes series of summer awareness activities

Doha, Qatar: Protection and Social Rehabilitation Center (Aman), a subsidiary of the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, concluded its summer awareness activities after presenting a series of awareness workshops in various locations across the country.

The workshops were held in collaboration with the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, represented by Quran memorisation centres and schools; the Ministry of Culture, represented by social centres; and the Qatar Red Crescent Society.

Acting Executive Director of Aman Center, Fadl bin Mohammed Al Kaabi emphasised the importance of continuing to hold awareness workshops during the summer. This will help educate participants and provide them with the knowledge necessary to avoid misbehaviour in general. He also emphasised the importance of reinforcing positive values ​​within them to equip them with new skills and encourage them to adopt modern methods of sound parenting.

He praised the level of engagement of participants in the awareness workshops, based on the statistics provided for the number of beneficiaries of the “Aman” summer activities for 2025.
He stressed the importance of achieving the vision and mission of the Aman Center to provide protection and social rehabilitation, and working to achieve its strategic objectives through the cooperation of partners to increase awareness and community education for participants in the awareness workshops, including children, women, parents, and specialists in issues related to protection and social rehabilitation, to enhance family cohesion and create a strong and cohesive family environment.

Director of Aman’s Community Awareness Department Bakhita Al Ghayathin emphasised the importance of providing awareness workshops and activities related to social protection issues, as awareness and prevention in such issues enable participants to acquire new skills and information that contribute to shaping their personalities, especially children. She pointed out the turnout of participants in the awareness workshops by using the registration link for the awareness workshops published on the centre’s official website and accounts on social media platforms.
