London--Leeds captain Kevin Sinfield kicked three long-range penalties and converted three tries as the Challenge Cup holders beat Hull 24-6 to make the semi-finals on Friday.
The veteran stand-off made sure that the pre-match loss of Liam Sutcliffe -- ruled out for the season with a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament -- wasn't detrimental.
Leeds were too powerful for Hull with centres Joel Moon and Kallum Watkins and full-back Zak Hardaker scoring tries.
On Thursday, Hull Kingston Rovers saw off Catalans Dragons 32-26 in a see-saw quarter-final.
Rovers surged into a 24-0 lead after 28 minutes but then saw their French visitors cut the deficit to just 10 points in the first of this week's last-eight clashes.
But in-form winger Ken Sio's second try of the match and Josh Mantellato's sixth goal from seven attempts eased Hull KR nerves, who are looking to win the trophy for just the second time following their 1980 success.
The Dragons left themselves with just too much of a mountain to climb as Rovers made it eight home wins out of 10 in 2015.
In the remaining quarter-finals, Warrington face Leigh on Saturday with St Helens hosting Widnes on Sunday.
