QSE index closes at 9,697.30 points

Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) benchmark index dropped 33.22 points, or 0.34 percent, when the bourse closed trading at 9,697.30 points yesterday.

The volume of shares traded increased to 10.28 million from 8.93  million on Thursday and the value of shares increased to QR297.92m from QR292.11m on Thursday.

From the 47 companies listed on QSE, shares of 41 saw trading yesterday. From these, eight companies gained, 31 closed lower, while two companies remained  unchanged.

Indices of six sectors ended in red zone and one sector in green zone today. QSE Total Return Index decreased 0.34 percent to 17,843.86 points and QSE Al Rayan Islamic Index also decreased 0.18 percent to 3,846.09 points. QSE All Share Index dropped 0.31 percent to 2,886.54 points, reports QNA.
