MoPH reminds public on appointment process at vaccination centers

Doha: The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has reminded the public about the appointment process at vaccination centers.

It has emphasized that no walk-ins will be accepted and urged the public to cooperate in delivering a smooth and efficient service while ensuring the safety of everyone. 

The reminder published in MoPH’s Twitter account has highlighted the following: 

Qatar National Convention Center
•    Health authorities will notify eligible people about their scheduled appointments when their turn comes.
•    People visiting the center without a fixed appointment will not be vaccinated.

Vaccination Center Industrial Area
•    Health authorities will notify eligible people about their scheduled appointments when their turn comes.
•    People visiting the center without a fixed appointment will not be vaccinated.

Primary Health Centers
•    Health authorities will notify eligible people about their scheduled appointments when their turn comes.
•    People visiting the center without a fixed appointment will not be vaccinated. 

Drive-through vaccination centers in Lusail and Al Wakra
•    Only second doses are administered. No appointment is needed but people must wait until the due date for their second dose. They can then visit at any time during operational hours. 
•    No second doses will be given before the due date: 21 days after first dose for Pfizer/BioNTech and 28 days after first dose for Moderna.
