Qataris win three medals in Arab Athletics Championship

Qatari athletes pose with their national flag during the 19th Arab Athletics Championship in Manama. The Qatari athletics team continued their dazzling performance by winning three silver medals on Sunday. Rashid Al Mane confidently won the silver medal in the triple jump event behind Algeria’s Essam Nima, who claimed the gold, while Khalid Al Subae of Kuwait won the bronze. Likewise, Mohammed Qeeda won the silver medal in the javelin throw, behind Egypt’s Ehab Abdulrahman, who seized the gold medal, while Al Sharee Abdullah of Morocco took the bronze. The Qatar athletics team comprising Femi, Samuel Watson and Eid Al Kawari claimed the silver medal in the 100x4 relay, Kuwait won the gold medal and Iraq clinched the bronze medal.
