Doha: The Protection and Social Rehabilitation Centre (Aman), one of the centres affiliated with the Qatar Foundation for Social Work, organised an interactive forum on the safe environment for a strong family to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, observed annually on November 25.
The event brought together a distinguished group of social, psychological, and legal specialists, influential Qatari women, experts in social protection and women’s issues, and interested members of the community.
The forum aimed to support Aman Centre’s vision and mission of enhancing social protection and rehabilitation by raising awareness of women’s social issues, reducing violence and family disintegration, equipping women with new skills, and providing psychological and social support, as well as exchanging expertise in the field of social protection.
