The Central Laboratories Department at Qatar General Organization for Standardization has organised a workshop on the new updates to ISO/IEC 17025.
The speakers in the workshop reviewed the new updates to ISO/IEC 17025 for 2017, the amendments and changes that were finally approved in November, and expected that the new version will be issued before the end of this year.
They stressed the importance of this standard for all lab workers in the world, with their various specialities and technical capabilities, as it serves as a standard for accreditation of the activities of laboratories by the international accreditation offices.
They also addressed the special requirements of the accreditation offices.
