Doha: The Ministry of Economy and Commerce has recalled iPhone 6 Plus smartphones because of a defective camera that may take fuzzy pictures.
The ministry said owners can check if their phone is included in the recall by entering a serial number on this webiste: www.apple.com/support/iphone6plus-isightcamera.
The recall comes within the framework of ongoing coordination and follow-up by the ministry to ascertain that dealers follow up defects and repair them to make sure that consumers’ rights are protected.
The ministry will coordinate with the dealers to follow up maintenance and repair operations. It urged consumers to report any abuses or irregularities by communicating with the Department of Consumer Protection and Commercial Fraud Combat which will receive complaints, suggestions and inquiries through its communication channels.
