Qatari runner Abdullah Fahad Al Zarraa set a new national record at the 2025 Berlin International Marathon, finishing the 42.21 km race in 2:30:34.
His pace of 3:34 per kilometer placed him among the top finishers in one of the world’s toughest marathon events. The result secured him direct qualification for the major marathons in Chicago, Tokyo, Boston, London and New York.
