DOHA: Cityscape Qatar, the only real estate exhibition and conference of its kind in the country, is set for a successful showing this October 22-24 with exhibitor and visitor feedback from last year’s event promising a high international turnout.
Organized by Cityscape and Elan Group, the 8th edition of Cityscape Qatar will take place at Doha Exhibition & Convention Center. With top exhibitors including Qatari Diar, Just Real Estate, Amar city, QIMC, Edara, Florens Resort and Suites, and Oral Architecture & Engineering, as well as leading real estate companies from Oman, Kuwait, Turkey, the UK, Switzerland and a Tunisian pavilion, the event will showcase projects to local, regional and international homebuyers and investors.
“We received exceptionally positive feedback from last year’s event, which holds out great promise for October,” said Carlo Schembri, Exhibition Director, Cityscape Qatar. “Over a quarter of visitors, some 26 percent, said they attended the show to find a real estate investment, while 24 percent were there to find a home and 22 percent to source a real estate service provider. This gives the show a seal of confidence as a sought-after business and networking forum.” Cityscape Qatar 2019 comes as Credit Agricole ranks Qatar Investment Authority, the Qatari sovereign wealth fund, as one of the world’s top five real estate investors and as figures from the country’s Planning & Statistics Authority (PSA) put the state’s domestic real estate sector on a resurgent curve.
“The PSA reported that in the first five months of this year over 9.5 billion Qatari Riyals worth of real estate deals were concluded, which points to a market on the move again,” said Schembri. “In this climate, Cityscape Qatar will once again offer unparalleled investment opportunities for the local and international real estate markets. Aligned with Qatar’s National Vision 2030, the event will feature a wide range of real estate projects from across the entire property spectrum.” The October event will also feature a high-powered opening day conference and the highly popular Cityscape Talks series on October 23 and 24.
“This three-in-one combination of business opportunities and knowledge gathering enables investors, homebuyers and industry professionals to engage in a dynamic environment that will offer salient insights into the future of Qatari and Middle East real estate,” explained Schembri.
Attendance at the probing Cityscape Qatar conference is by invitation only with invites available by registering online at www.cityscapeqatar.com. Delegates will hear from industry thought leaders on the most important themes for real estate investment in Qatar, while a combination of high-level presentations and an expert panel discussion will deliberate the latest sector trends.
