The Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation has revealed the outcomes of its humanitarian and charitable activities for the first quarter of 2026, which targeted a wide range of beneficiaries within the country.

These efforts included financial and in-kind assistance to numerous individuals and families in need, payment of tuition fees for underprivileged students across various educational levels, and the provision of medical treatment for many patients whose health conditions impose financial burdens beyond their means.

The Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation also emphasized that building partnerships and unifying efforts with civil society institutions and organizations contributes effectively to the comprehensive development witnessed in the country and supports the achievement of Qatar National Vision 2030. The total value of assistance provided by the foundation reached QR2,299,561.

Health and Education:

Given the importance the foundation places on the health and education sectors, reflecting its vision of “Health and Education for a Better Life”, it provided financial support to several institutions and associations operating in these fields, amounting to a total of QR341,268.

This support included assistance to individuals suffering from chronic illnesses, those in need of surgical or medical intervention, and other forms of aid that demonstrate the foundation’s commitment to fostering a healthier society.

As part of its ongoing efforts to support education, the foundation, through its self-funded initiatives, continued to assist underprivileged students in pursuing their academic journeys.

This included covering tuition fees for students at various educational levels in private schools, community schools, and universities, to remove financial barriers that might hinder their educational progress.

Civil Society Institutions:

Driven by its strong belief in the importance of building effective partnerships with local civil society institutions and recognizing their role in contributing to national development, the foundation continued to provide various forms of support to these entities.

The total value of this support reached QR247,535 during the first quarter of 2026, benefiting several organizations concerned with health, education, and social affairs, including the Qatar Cancer Society, the Audio Education Complex, and the Association of Certified Public Accountants, among others.

Financial and In-Kind Assistance:

The charitable initiatives and projects implemented by the Jassim and Hamad Bin Jassim Charitable Foundation are characterized by sustainability, as they are self-funded and grounded in the principle of social solidarity.

The foundation remains committed to providing continuous financial and in-kind assistance to underprivileged families, helping to ease their financial burdens.

In this context, the foundation adopts a flexible and effective approach to reach the largest possible number of beneficiaries within Qatar and to address their urgent and diverse needs. During the first quarter of 2026, it provided financial and in-kind assistance valued at QR1,710,758.
