A delegation from the Advisory Council will participate in the Regional Forum of Parliamentarians in the Field of Science and Diplomacy, which will start today in Muscat, Oman.
The three-day forum aims at enhancing the role of parliamentarians in developing legislation and policies in support of science, technology and innovation, engaging society in science, technology and innovation issues, and deepening cooperation among scientific associations and entities.
The Regional Forum’s participants will discuss topics related to enhancing regional cooperation in science, technology and innovation, science and diplomacy in the Arab world and science and technology in the Arab world in the light of globalisation and competition: obstacles and challenges.
