Doha: The official draw for the fourth Men’s National Volleyball Championship will be conducted today, it was announced yesterday.
The Qatar Volleyball Association has revealed that the draw ceremony will take place at the QVA Hall Meeting Room at 6pm.
The annual tournament will see teams divided into two groups for group round-robin preliminaries, while the top team from each group advancing to the final showdown.
The competition will be split into two periods, with the first session being held from December 11-16, 2020 and the second one between January 23-30, 2021.
To participate in the national tournament, it is permissible for a player to change a federation or for whom the QVA is considered his original association.
One player under the age of 21, a Qatari citizen must be present on the field at all times during the matches - except for the change with the Libero, and another Qatari player under the age of 21 as a substitute player for the first player, must be present in order to provide an opportunity for contact and experience.
Meanwhile, the official draw for the General Beach Volleyball League will be held at the conference at 6.00pm.
