H E the Minister also met yesterday with Minister of Industry and Commerce of the Republic of Paraguay H E Luis Alberto Castiglione, and the accompanying delegation currently visiting the country.
During the meeting with H E Moon Sung Wook the officials touched on the bilateral relations between the two countries and discussed aspects of joint cooperation, especially in the trade, investment, and industrial fields, as well as ways to enhance and develop them.
The meeting also discussed trade policies between the two countries and the efforts exerted by both to confront the COVID-19 pandemic. The Minister of Commerce and Industry additionally highlighted the economic policies put in place by Qatar to support the private sector.
These included the incentives, legislations, and promising opportunities that were made available to companies wishing to invest and establish a presence in Qatar.
A Qatari-Korean Business Meeting was organized on the sidelines of the Korean delegation’s visit to the country. The meeting aimed to strengthen and expand trade, investment, and industrial relations between the two nations by reaching practical mechanisms to increase the volume of trade and investment exchange, create effective partnerships, and attract new investments to the Qatari market.
