DOHA: The Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, through its Field Patrols Department under the Directorate of Terrestrial Protection, conducted a large-scale inspection campaign in collaboration with the Environmental Security Forces (Lekhwiya), targeting the Rawdat Rashid and Rawdat Aisha areas in central Qatar.
As part of the campaign, authorities identified and dismantled an illegal camp in the Abu Nakhla area that violated camping regulations. The camp had not been removed following the official end of the camping season, breaching established rules and guidelines.
Legal action was taken against the violator in accordance with applicable regulations. The Ministry reaffirmed its commitment to preserving Qatar’s natural environment and ensuring strict compliance with camping laws to protect the country’s ecosystems.
