Doha, Qatar: The Qatar School for Science and Technology for Boys celebrated the graduation of its fifth cohort for the 2025-2026 academic year, with all 56 graduates securing admission to universities in Qatar and abroad, achieving a 100 percent university acceptance rate.

The graduation ceremony was attended by Minister of Education and Higher Education H E Lolwah bint Rashid bin Mohammed Al Khater, alongside Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education H E Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al Nuaimi, Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Affairs Maha Zayed Al Qahtani Al Ruwaili, and Principal of the School Mohammed Ali Mandani Al Emadi. The event also brought together education leaders, parents, and members of the school’s teaching and administrative staff.

The fifth graduating class recorded a notable academic achievement, with all students gaining places at 14 universities across Qatar and abroad, spanning five countries. Seven graduates were accepted into prestigious international universities.

University admissions reflected a strong focus on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines. Mechanical engineering emerged as the most popular field of study, followed by medicine and electrical engineering. Other specialisations chosen by graduates included petroleum and gas engineering, chemical engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, nuclear engineering, and aerospace engineering.

The cohort also delivered strong performances in international standardised tests. Students achieved an average SAT score of 1,169, while the highest score reached 1,530. The average IELTS score stood at 7.06, with the highest score reaching 8.0.

Addressing the ceremony, Maha Zayed Al Qahtani Al Ruwaili described the Qatar School for Science and Technology as a leading educational model that reflects the Ministry’s commitment to strengthening science, technology, engineering, and mathematics education. She praised the students’ academic and research accomplishments throughout their studies.

She noted that the school’s graduates demonstrate the success of ongoing efforts to develop a generation equipped with the knowledge, skills, and innovative capabilities needed to meet future challenges. She added that investment in high-quality education remains a cornerstone of achieving the goals of the Qatar National Vision 2030.

For his part, Principal Mohammed Ali Mandani Al Emadi expressed pride in the achievements of the graduating students, stressing that the school continues its mission of preparing academically outstanding students capable of competing for places in leading universities and scientific disciplines both within Qatar and internationally.

Speaking on behalf of parents, Khalid Abdulrahman Al Musleh commended the school and its educational and administrative teams for their role in nurturing students and developing their academic and personal capabilities.
