Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Public Health, MoPH has stepped up efforts to safeguard the country’s food supply by accelerating the frequency of inspections across key sectors.
In a social media post, the Ministry stated the inspections are focused particularly on high-risk categories such as meat and poultry, dairy products, fish and seafood, as well as other perishable goods.Intensified inspection procedures are implemented at entry points, local markets, and increase in sampling and laboratory testing, the ministry noted.
MoPH added that officials are also closely monitoring transport, storage, and refrigeration conditions to ensure compliance with safety standards.
