Doha: Hamad Medical Corporation's (HMC) Blood Donor Center is in critical need of various blood groups and has called upon donors in the country to donate.
In a social media post, HMC stated that it is in urgent need of O+v and O-ve blood and all RH (A-, B-, AB-) Negative blood types.
Blood donations center next to Hamad General Hospital (HGH) are open from Sunday to Thursday from 6pm to 11:30pm and Saturday from 7pm to 11:30pm.
Donation can also be done at Bayt Al Diyafah in Hamad Bin Khalifa Medical City between 8am to 1pm and 6pm to 11:30 from Sunday to Thursday and on Saturday from 7pm to 11:30pm.
Both the donor centres are closed on Fridays.
“Our donation centers follow the highest standards of safety and infection control. We are taking extra precautions to help ensure the safety of our employees and donors,” Hamad Medical Corporation affirmed.
