Bedaya Center for Entrepreneurship and Career Development (Bedaya Center) has successfully concluded its three-day innovation seminar which was held at the City Centre Rotana Doha.
During the seminar, the centre hosted a selection of speakers and inspiring figures considered as market leaders and pioneers in innovation and role business models. The speakers’ list included Raed Al Emadi, Chief Commercial Officer of Qatar Financial Center, Mohammad Zebian, Program Manager/Acceleration at Qatar Science and Technology Park, Mahmood Al Mahmood, Entrepreneurship Advisor at Bedaya Center, Shaikha Athba Al Thani, CEO of Advanced Computing Center, Mohammed Al Jufairi, Innovation Consultant, Omar Ashour, Co-Founder of E-Butler, Saleh Safran, CEO of Subol, Salman Badnava, Co-founder of ARVEX and Haitham Al Haidari, Co-Founder & CEO of Modaris program.
During the seminar, the speakers discussed the most important themes that support entrepreneurship and innovation in the business sector and tackled three topics, including enhanced business modeling, designing innovative value propositions, and best innovation techniques. In addition, the seminar included interactive workshops that focused on theories and techniques related to the sector.
Bedaya Center General Manager Reem Al-Sowaidi (pictured) said: “Innovation is one of the most important elements to ensure the success of any project as it helps in identifying and highlighting many advantages of the project that stand out from others in look and content. This also reflects on the project owner with a lot of benefits such as great financial return, the excellence of its products and the increase in demand for them through which he or she can compete with other projects working in this area.
“Through the Innovation Forum, we sought to provide opportunity for entrepreneurs to listen to a selection of speakers and inspirational guests, who have showcased and discussed their innovations and practical experiences, and provided attendees the needed advice and guidance to consolidate this concept and make it a focal point to ensure the success of their projects in the future,” Al-Sowaidi added.
