Qatar Petroleum (QP) honoured 74 of its long-serving employees in recognition of their commitment and dedication to realising its vision and strategic objectives.
A special event titled “My Legacy” held under the patronage of H E Saad bin Sherida Al Kaabi, the Minister of State for Energy Affairs, the President and CEO of QP was held to recognise the services of employees who have reached career milestones of 30, 35, and 40 years of service.
H E Al Kaabi paid tribute to all those recognized, who included employees from a wide spectrum of jobs and professions, and said, “As we honor the many years of your long service in Qatar Petroleum, we see that this does not just make us the only employer you have ever known in your career, but also speaks volumes about Qatar Petroleum as an employer of choice, and as an incubator for human talent.”
The Minister highlighted the importance QP places on developing, building and rewarding its talent as it moves ahead to realize its vision. “Our Human Capital was, and continues to be, at the center of everything we do. We are making sure that we build unparalleled capabilities on the road to greater achievements. We also remain focused on developing leadership competencies within the organization that can drive our ambitions well into the future,” he said.
He highlighted some of QP’s recent milestones on its journey to reinforce its position as a global energy provider, and said, “You have all contributed to those achievements and for that I thank each and every one of you.”
