The Qatar Electricity and Water Company (QEWC), the main producer of utilities in the country, yesterday posted a net profit of QR950m (net of non-controlling interests) for the first nine months of this year ended September 30, 2019 against QR1.15bn reported for the corresponding period last year (2018). The Earning per Share (EPS) amounted to QR0.86 (86 dirhams) for the period compared to QR1.05 for the same period in 2018.
The sales (revenues) of the QEWC stood at QR1.68bn for the period compared to QR1.91bn for the same period of the year 2018.
