Qatar Chamber Chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani will open an arbitration seminar titled “Arbitration: A view from Qatar and Beyond” on Sunday 27th Oct, 2019 at Hilton Hotel, Doha.
The Board Member for International Relations at the Qatar International Centre for Conciliation and Arbitration (QICCA) Dr Sheikh Thani bin Ali Al Thani will attend the event. The seminar is organized by The Qatar International Centre for Conciliation and Arbitration (QICCA) in cooperation with Al Sulaiti Law Firm, Thani bin Ali Al Thani Lawyers and Legal Consultants and Sultan Al-Abdulla & Partners. A number of legal expets will present many papers including Enforcement of international arbitration awards, Recent developments in international arbitration, Challenging in validity of arbitral award: local and practical experiences and Influence of annulment case on arbitral award enforcement.
They will also discuss Interim remedies in support arbitration, the difference in approach between Civil Law and Common Law Arbitrators as well as Challenges to an arbitration appointment.
